Hi. Please help me identify this bug. The bug is only about 3mm or 4mm long. I took these pictures and I am in East TN. I think it was biting me because I have marks and welts on my legs.

A long time ago I was bitten, and I found a small unsuspecting insect crawling on my arm, he was sort of harmless & neat neat looking, so I watched him crawl for awhile, then I realized after he had bitten me again, that it was this insect that had bitten me, actually this specific insect had fangs that he sunk into me. This is the same insect that you are wondering about. Today, I seen one of these insects, and I am in the habit of not killing little insects that I find inside the house, so I let him crawl on the table next to where I was going to eat at, then I planned on putting him outside after I had eaten. I sat my plate down and I placed a piece of Orwheat bread onto my plate, and a small piece of crushed nut dropped off of my bread, so I jokingly place the nut crumb in front of the insect to see if he was hungry, and surprisingly he went to town on the piece of nut, he grabbed it with his middle and rear legs to hold it, and then he tried to sink his fangs into it the best that he could. I had never really knew that insects could be good pets and would eat human food. I then decided to see if he would eat a more enjoyable & softer piece of scrambled eggs, I figured that it would be easier for him to extract nutrients from, and I was right, he proceeded to sample the eggs. Then I decided that since I was eating a meal with more variety, that maybe this insect would also enjoy a piece of breakfast meat, he seemed to love the meat, then he crawled all around the sample pieces of breakfast food, and he ate from all of them. Last of all, I decided to also give him a small chunk of melted cheddar cheese, and he seemed to have the same good tastes that humans have. Cheese does taste better than most other foods, and this fanged insect agreed, once he got a hold of the cheese, he liked it the best, and he sucked from the cheese for quite along time. This is just a thing that I noticed today that was unexpected and neat, so if you ever see one of these insects, then try to feed him a variety of human foods, and he will appreciate it.
