Hey girls !
I just came here to post some pictures and tell some news about us.
Carol is doing fine shes already 1 year and 2 months old , I really can't believe it !
I don't know whats happening to her , she is such sweetheart at home but this week her teacher told me she is biting her friends at the daycare . lol
I tell her that biting hurts and it is not nice. I was told that if she doesn't stop then I will have to take her another daycare, but I am afraid that if I have to do that, then the other daycare won't take her because she has had a bad habit of biting. oh man , that sucks ! She always did that to me , but I thought it was only me . Crying or Very sad

I had a lot of problems with my exboyfriend (carol's dad) this couple of months .He got another girl pregnant , I shouldn't care about it because I have a boyfriend and I do love him , but its hard and it hurts so bad . I lost a lot of hair , my hair falls out when I become stressed or upset. I know I know , I'm stupid , but what can I do ? lol

aww she is soo cute, my son was that way at the age, with the biting, he sorta grew out of it but now likes to pull my hair, i havent put him in daycare for that reason , im fraid he cant behave around other kids without beating them up. some people say bite em back then they know what it feels like and they might stop, i never did that with joseph he sorta just um grew out of it and found a new thing.

lol, your face in the first one cracked me up. you're really pretty!

carol's adorable as always, i love that pink jacket. there's just something about her...

unfortunately i don't have any advice on the biting. what do they do at daycare when she bites? timeouts? that's all i can think of. hopefully someone here will have some good advice because it would suck for her to get kicked out of daycare.

Aww, .carol has such a bright, round happy face. She's very sweet looking! I don't know what to do about biting either. My daughter is almost 15 mos, and she will do it every once in awhile and when she does it I say "ouch!" really loud to startle her and tell her "don't bite, that hurts mamma" and that normally works....until next time Confused

and about the biting... hah this is gonna sound bad, my cousin used to bite my grandma.. so she bit him back lol not really hard but enough to tick him off (im not reccomending that, i cant imagine it Razz

) but ya he never did it again lol he was older than carol though. i sound bad for saying that lol

Older folks used to bite to break a kid for biting. That is what .I was told to do to break my daughter of it when she was little.
I tried really acting jumped when she bit to kind of scare her and she thought that reaction was a riot and kept doing it. I remember having little bite marks all over my arms. I tried time out, putting hot sauce on the skin where she bit (that hurts you more than them, literally), and .I tried not reacting at all. Nothing worked. I'm ashamed now to say, .I bit her. I remember it distinctly, like it was yesterday. I was on the phone and she got me on the back of my arm and it felt like she took a chunk of skin with her. I hung up the phone, grabbed her arm and bit. She looked at me and said, "ouch, you bite me, bitings bad", and .God love her, she never bit another soul again.

You don't have to do it hard and you certainly shouldn't. Mine didn't even cry, but she was shocked.

She went to daycare with a little biter and he would draw blood. With diseases and skin disorders, I would be terrified to have a biter. I hope .Jaylon doesn't bite.

thanks girls ! you guys are the best ! Very Happy

about the biting , I don't know what to do anymore so I will try bit her (not hard of course , I dont wanna hurt her) , but my mom is pretty sure carol is too young to go to the daycare & should wait a little more and stay with her family , shes right but I can't quit my job now , so I'll get a nanny if she doesnt stop bite .
the teacher loves her SO MUCH , and is trying to help me ...so we'll see what happens Rolling Eyes
