For about 48 hours now i have been experiencing abdominal pain. The pain is mostly in my lower abdomen but sometimes i have been experiencing pain all around. It hurts when i wak up stairs and shift around and especially when i lay on my left side i get bad achy or crampy pains on the lower right of my abdomen, i was thinking appendicitis so i went to the ER last night and they did a CT scan and they said it was negative, they prescribed me "donattal" i took 1 dose of it and it did not help. I have bad nausea and pain and i have to FORCE myself to eat. I have had a bowel movement since this started (1 normal and then diahhrea after i drank the contrast for the CT scan). The conditions i have are Diverticulosis and Hemmorhoids. I have tried taking maalox and the donattol and neither had an effect on me. I am starting to worry now because if this was food poisoning or something like that it should have went away by now.

The pain i am experiencing is mainly when i am moving around, when i lay flat on my back it seems to ease up a bit but not completely go away.
The main thing that stands out with my symptoms is that when i lie down on my left side the pain increases in my lower abdomen area..

Does anyone have any idea about what could being going on with me or any suggestions to ease the pain and nausea?? Please help me out i am suffering Sad

It sounds like you might be suffering from irritable bowel syndrome. The first line of treatment should be a positive change in diet. For instance, people suffering from diarrhea might want to try a low-fiber diet while people suffering from constipation probably need to increase the amount of fiber they consume. Obvious irritants should be avoided. For example, an entirely wheat-free diet may be appropriate. It is important for each person to discover which foods trigger their bouts of discomfort. It’s often a case of "trial and error” to determine which foods causes problems and which seem to be beneficial

You may also look into colon cleansing. There are several methods that you can use to cleanse the colon, such as colon hydrotherapy, colonic fasting diets, laxatives, and nutritional supplements. However, oxygen based colon cleansers are the very best method for deep-cleaning the colon and maximizing all of the benefits of colon cleansing.

I myself have been using Oxy-Powder to help with my constipation and ibs, you might want to give that a try. Good luck!

Hi, welcome here.
It sounds to me you're either going through a rough time and your digestive system is being influenced by your nerves or that you may have IBS. It's not difficult to deal with IBS, normally. You have to take care of your diet, eat whole cereals, not having things such as sodas and artificial juices, have fruit, soup. etc.
Hope you get better!
