Causes For Irritatation On Penis? Posted: 06-08-07 22:39pm
my boyfriend occasionally (its happened
twice in the past 2-3 months) gets a small
red bump/irritation on his penis right
after we have sex. the first time it was
right on the head, and this time it is
along the side of the shaft. he is
concerned that he has genital herpes, but
i don't think thats it. its only 1 bump
and it shows up immeditely after sex and
goes away in about a week or less. i say
its just irritation from the condom or
something simple like that. has anyone
else had this happen to them or have any
ideas of what it could be? maybe its the
condom we are using (i don't know what
kind we were using the first time we
noticed this, but it was an ultra thin one
this time), maybe its too much friction,
not even lubrication. do these make any
sense or should we be concerned that its
more serious?

It doesn't sound like herpes at all, or
anything to be concerned about really.
