I recently burned myself on a very hot iron as I was...well ironing. I'm not sure of the degree of the burn, but I think its second-degree (medium) because a large blister formed. The blister is filled with fluid, and its 2-3 inches long. How should I treat this, and will it leave scars?

You need to keep the burn well cooled and iced immediately after the burn. Then use plenty of aloe vera gel on it. It probably won't leave a permanent scar. I burned myself on a steamer at my work (a restaurant) and gave my self a good three inch blister. It took over a year to go completely away.

Make sure once the blister pops you keep it very clean.....if it becomes infected, you will have to see a doctor for treatment.
