So, for months I have been having recurring numbness in my thigh but that seemed to be related to my back because it could be invoked by certain positions.

Lately though, I have been having numbness in my foot that is totally unpredictable, the numbness in my leg is becoming more frequent and accompanied with the feeling of weakness in my leg (although I still apparently have full strength or close to it). I also have a feeling of weakness in my right arm, again with full strength.

I have been having recurring headaches in the back and on the top left of my head, I am suspected of having Migraines and am on Topomax, but I have never had the numbness before.

I have a history of false alarms with chest pain so when I went to my Doctor, he did some quick tests (arm strength, checked my balance with eyes closed, finger to nose with eye closed, arms out, etc..., looked at my smile) and said that it wasn't anything like a stroke, but I continue to worry about it. My Neurologist is out of town and I couldn't get an appointment until July 13th.

When my headaches started a few months ago, a MRA was done (November) then a CT and a vein sonar (February) and everything was normal except that my "Lake" was abnormally large, which is why the diagnosis of Migraines.

I want to think the people I have talked to are right (a nurse I know, and my Doctor) and I am just having more Anxiety and making my symptoms worse) I will be going back on Welbutrin to try and curb the anxiety and increase my mood...I just want some other people to bounce this off of.

How often do you have those "attacks" of numbness, weakness and pain and how long they last?
Can you also give me some more data from your medical history and some personal data (age, sex, profession, marriage status, bad habits etc.)?
