Fungal Infection- Need Help Posted: 06-07-07 22:38pm
I went to the doctors, and he said that it
was a fungal STD. He said that I could use
Selsun Blue shampoo and it would kill it,
by rubbing it into my skin wherever I saw
this red rash that was there- it was on my
neck, shoulders, arms, chest and back.
Four days after using that, it seemed like
it got better, but then BAM! Everywhere on
my neck and chest I put the Selsun Blue
turned even redder, much redder, and some
spots turned blue!
They now have me on a prescription cream,
but now it looks like I have a chemical
burn or something- my skin is scaley and
tight, very dry, and cracking. The blue is
still inside my skin. I have been on the
cream for two or three days. The redness
is gone, but the burn-type symptoms (dry,
deadlike skin, kinda scaley, etc) is still
there. I can't move my head much because
it hurts the skin on my neck.
Can anyone please tell me what is going
on!
He never told me the name of the STI, or
STD, but I think it began wth a P....so
Please help!
