Hi i discovered a year ago on a random trip to the doctors that i had high blood pressure. since then i have been advised to get a home monitor and to keep track of my blood pressure and to try to loose weight. i have found it very hard to get motivated using pen and paper but have now found a cool website that tracks my bp and my weight. this last week i've logged in every morning so far with my weight and bp and am starting to get more motiviated. it creates a graph so you can see where you are in relation to hypertension and my weight graph is coming down...yeah. i'm going to give it a month and then go to the doctors as interestingly my blood pressure is much lower at home than it is in the doctors (although it is still higher than it should be). anyway. just wanted to say that if you are lacking motivation to keep track of your bp weight maybe tracking it would help.
good luck with your bps
