Hey there....I too am a type 1 diabetic....I'm not completely sure but i've been told that you don't pass diabetes to your kid if your pregnant. They might have a higher risk of getting it, but thats usually if you have type 2. I'm not an expert but I don't think you have anything to worry about...The only thing i've heard is diabetics usually have to have c-sections to get the baby out early because of the glucose in the blood causes the baby to grow faster than usual..But still no worries...Hope that helps.
