Ok i just finished my 7 day break and had started my new packet of combined microgynon 21 day pills. I has taken the forth pill when the next day (due to take my 5th) i was up with awful sickness and upset tummy. therefor i missed the pill for the whole of that day and took 2 the next day. after taking 3 pills correctly after this incident my partner went inside me but didnt fully cum. I have read that if you miss a pill totally one day you are safe aslong as its only one you miss. With my situation what would be the chances of preg? Surely it would take a good week to ovulate when not taking pills and 24hours wouldnt cause ovulation in order to become preg? I really appreciate your knowledge and help. Thanks x

If you miss one pill, and take two the next day, you are still protected. Don't worry.

Also, you can still take the pill if you are sick, but if you are throwing up, you shouldn't trust that the pill worked. But if it's just one day that may have been messed up, you should be fine. It sounds like you did the right thing and should be protected.

Hi
You did not state how long you have been on the pill. If you have been on them for some time, you should be fine, because yes, it would take your body time to readjust and figure out "hey, we can get pregnant now....but thats not entirely true, because the pill is not 100% effective........I would think you are ok though. Good luck! Laughing

Yeah, chances are you are fine. Most women do not ovulate just from being off the pill for one day, but it can happen, so make sure you don't make a habit of it!

Yeah, you're fine. In the instruction packet it will state that if you miss one and make up for it you do not have to use back up. If you are ever concerned about it , though, keeping condoms around is a good idea. Especially if you have been sick.
