Q: Hysterectomy And Antiphospholipid Syndrome

I was diagnosed with a blood clotting disorder called antiphospholipid syndrome. I need to get a hysterectomy but I am scared to death. I'm going to see a bunch of blood specialists and MD's to see if I can work out a plan for a safe surgery.
If anyone has had a surgery with APS, please contact me.

Thanks so much

it sounds like your doctor is at least aware and is trying to work something out for you.
write down any quetions you have and be sure to take that list with you and get answers that you are happy with at the meeting.

If they give you an answer that you don't understand - tell them and get them to explain it for you.

hysterectomy and antiphospholipid syndrome
Just read the question from 3 chocolates written back in 2007. Wondering if anyone can tell me if they have information, or have gone through a hysterectomy (or not, because)they have antiphospholipid syndrome.
