I cant do it anymore...after everything they take out my gall bladder only to find out that "no...i still have the pain..in fact its getting worse"...I have extreme pain in my upper right side that radiates to my right shoulder and now I get these 4-5min entire diaphram contraction thats even radiate to my left side. I dont want pain meds...and they have no more answers. Do I go somewhere else? Ended up in ER last night doubled over in pain, did CT and XRay...nothing. I KNOW in my heart of hearts there is something wrong.

how long ago did you have your gallbladder removed? If it was fairly recent it could be air, that can cause pain up into the shoulders and it can be quite painful. Ive experienced it. Also your body has to readjust now that that organ is no longer there. if your concerned id go follow up with the dr that did your surgery and make sure a stone didnt get lodged in your bile duct etc.

Same Pain Even After Gb Is Removed
I had my gallbladder removed in 2003. Two weeks after surgery, I had the same pain! GI dr did tests and said I had sphincter of odii dysfuntion. I under went surgery in 2005 and still have the same pain.

I was then diagnosed with pancreatitis and now take enzymes before I eat. I have had every test imaginable- ct scan, bloodwork, ercp,mrcp,x-rays, colonoscopy, endoultrsounds etc- everything comes back normal. The pain is severe, it is in my upper abdomen and radiates to my back. It used to only be on my right side, but can be on either side now. I can't breath when it happens. I have been to the hospital several times this year. I have seen 10 doctors over the past 4 years- No one has answers for me. I can't take it any more- I am on the edge. It is ruining my life.

I would also recommend and endoscopy and maybe a colonscopy to check your digestive tract, my dr said that ulcers can mimic gallstone or gallbladder pain so you may have an ulcer that is causing those pains, def follow up with your dr though.
