Q: Baby And Weight Help

I'm 15, 115 lbs., and 13 almost 14 weeks. I'm still not showing at all and when I was around a month pregnant I weighed 120. Is it bad to loose 5 pounds? I also had an ultrasound about a week ago and the doctor said I would show soon, but I've seen pictures of girls who are bigger and older who are also having there first kid who are already showing. Does anyone have an Idea of when a girl of my size will start to show? I feel dumb for asking, but I'm just really worried and so new to this I don't know anything and I can use all the help I can get, can anyone help?

It's normal to lose weight in the first trimester. Your doctor would have said something if he was concerned.

We can't tell you when you'll start showing, it's different for everyone. 13 weeks is too early to expect to be showing, most people don't pop until around 20 weeks (but like I said, it's different for everyone). I wasn't showing until 35 weeks and when I was people couldn't believe how far along I was.

Don't worry, i'm sure everything is fine.

Hardly anyone shows at 13 weeks and when they do it's usually their 2nd or 3rd pregnancy so the body is already a little stretched etc. I lost a little weight in the first trimester, it's normal. Just remeber how hard your body is working and how many changes it's going through, after all it is growing a new life inside of you
