Q: depo shot & light bleeding

i was suppose to get another depo shot on march 6 i never got it cause it made me feel horrible. but is is normal now for me to have bleeding for over a month now? its not heavy bleeding i only have to wear a panty liner.it starts and stops its not all the time

Yes, that is normal. Depo often does very strange things to a woman's cycle, especially if she is just starting or stopping Depo.

Thanks!.... another question ...i know its not a good type of birth control but i was gonna try to stay away from having sex during my fertile time how can i tell when that is if i am bleeding all the time?

It's not easy to tell when you are fertile. It'll be almost impossible when your cycle is all over the place from getting off Depo. I would suggest using birth control every time, at least until your cycle regulates again.

You definitely won't be able to tell when you are fertile. Usually only really regular people can use that method, and it's still sketchy for most people. And with you getting off depo, your cycle could take months to regulate. Condoms are cheap Wink
