Q: Ovulation And the Pill ?

Can u ovulate while on the pill? cuz ive had ovulation like discharge, im on loestrin 28, 4 months now, had breakthrough bleeding all 4 mths so far wich is annoying as well, imjust wondering if it is possible to ovulate while on the pill, sometimes iam an hr or so late taking it but most of the time i try and take it at 8pm everyday. sometimes its 9 by the time ir emember, only one time i took it at 11pm.

.ovulation is fairly rare when on the pill (.i am on this one as well) and break through bleeding is common with the pill as well.

.a bonus of taking a hormonal birth control is that stopping ovulation is not the only preventative measure. .the pill also cause the uterine lining to change so that a fertilized egg would have a very difficult time implanting. .the cervical mucous also changes to make it difficult for sperm to pass through and fertilize a released egg so that even if you do ovulate it would be very difficult for you to become pregnant.

ah that eases my mind alittle bit, last thing i need is to get pregnant right now my husband leaves in july/august, i just found the discharge very odd and ovulation like. i hate this pill but i also dont wanna switch pills again so eh.
