I been schizo for about a year and a half now, I'm on 15 mg of zyprexa per day and it works wonders. I'm about 95% back to normal with the occasional weird thoughts.

The problem is I smoke marijuana on a regular basis, and honestly I don't feel it is makeing my illness any worse, infact, it helps me control stress which I believe to be the main factor in my illness. My doctor knows of my useage and continues to say it will only make my illnesss worse over time. Will it get worse? and if I quit, is there any garentee that I wont get any worse anyway?

And is it possible in the future to cure this illness completely?

First off, did they test for any physical problems before settling on the dianosis? Second, yes, marijuana will very like make it worse over time. There are plenty of herbs and natural methods you can use to ease stress that won't effect your brain over time. Third, there is no way to cure this completely, if this is indeed the problem you have and it's not being caused by something else.
