Sorry I see that someone has already posted on this and there is no vaccine for men currently. Does it look like there will be any out in the near future however?

I have not heard talk of a vaccine for men, however that does not mean that there never will be one. The main goal of the vaccine was to decrease the chances of cervical cancer. Since men don't have a cervix, they don't have to worry about that.

It would make sense that the vaccine would be for women then
Is there anything that a partner (uninfected) could take to protect against the virus?
Is there anything in addition I could do to help protect any further outbreaks besides doing what I can to boost my immune system?
Finally, how often should I geta smear> (My last one was clear).

Condoms might help keep any uninfected partners from becoming infected, but it's certainly not a sure thing. The same goes for avoiding sex if you have any warts. Other than that, I am not aware of anything that could help keep them uninfected. So sex with an uninfected person will probably always be a risk.

Most women should get paps every year. I am not sure if women with HPV are supposed to get them more often. I would suggest asking your ob-gyn what she recommends.
