Hi everyone.

I'm not sure what is causing this but here's my story and any input will be greatly appreciated.

I get these crawling, moving, tingling, numbness sensations on the back of my head/scalp about 4-5 times a day. I've experienced these for about a month now. An MRI (w/o contrast) a few months ago was unremarkable except for sinusitis. A cervical MRI 4 months ago showed compression of disks and a few other things (I can't remember what they were now).

I do have a history of alcoholism, anxiety, panic attacks, Tourette's syndrome (with head jerking), I was in a 35MPH automoblile accident several years ago in which my head smashed into the windshield, I suffer from Hypochondria, Agoraphobia, ADHD, GERD, IBS, etc.

I guess that's about it. Does anyone else have thse symptoms or have an opinion as to what might be causing them?.

I had this too, mine was from stress and TMJ. Does your jaw hurt? The tingling felt like drops of water rolling down my scalp and face, on both sides. I had all kinds of tests done, all normal. It is gone now thank goodness. It is a very scary feeling.

Hi I am 24 years student. I had problem of TMJ on left side , started a 2 years ago and now I am experiencing tingling on left side above ear (almost inch). I had experience of this feelings and slight heaviness of scalp on that side almost 10 to 12 times a day. I went to see the neurologist and he said everything was ok. Then orthodentist took Xray of my Jaw and give me some suggestion. But now the situation is like that I have tingling almost 24*7 days and with heaviness on above left ear in scalp. I am really scared ...Are there any suggestion?

It could be/sounds like a pinched nerve that is bothered from the TMJ? Just a thought. You should see you dentist who could refer you to a TMJ specialist.

hi i was bit by a misquito n panama beach florida first syptom was crawling in my legs now i can littrly filll them in my chest i get my left side of my chest shocked and my right fills empty any comments on that?

You are not alone friend. I sometimes get a buzzing sensation in my left thigh, and at other times its a tingling sensation in the back of my head or upper-back. I have no idea what is causing it, but wonder if it is a precursor to something terrible. I am otherwise a mentally and physically healthy guy, though I do tend to stress at things pretty easy.
