Does the birth control pill actually make you gain weight? Or is it because your body thinks you are pregnant and you feel hungry all the time, therefore you eat to satisfy your hunger?

The pill has been known to help some people pack on a few extra pounds. When I first started taking the pill, I noticed that I was suddenly hungry all the time...Even only 25 minutes after I ate! The change in hormones does this...Some people will notice it, others won't. I noticed, so I made a conscious effort not to eat every time I was hungry. Instead, I would have some fruit, or water. After the first 2 months, things settled down. I did not put any extra weight on that was related to the pill. For some people, there is no extra hunger. It all depends on the person - the pill reacts differently with everyone.

Good luck
