I am 22 years old and just had sex for the
first time on Thursday. It didn't hurt
that badly and I didn't even bleed. We
used a condom. On Saturday, I started
spotting and have been for 2 days now. My
period has always been irregular and it
should have started any time now. Having
sex was really emotional for me and I have
a lot of other change going on in my life.
(Graduating school and started a new job
last week.) Is this spotting something I
should be concerned about??

Probably not.
It's possible that it's your period
coming. I usually spot for about two days
before my period really starts. Stress
can also make your period do weird
things!
It's also possible that you had a small
tear in your vagina. Most people don't
realize how easily that skin can tear.
The inside of your vagina can tear during
sex if you are too dry. Sometimes it
won't even hurt much, but it can bleed
quite a bit.
However, now that you're sexually active,
you have to see an ob-gyn if you aren't
already anyway. So you can have her make
sure nothing more serious is going on.

So I've also just had sex for the first
time. And I don't know if it's the condom
or what, but I've been having some
yellowish weird discharge- a lot. Also,
how long is it supposed to hurt? My
boyfriend and I couldn't even do it as
easily as the first time because it hurt
even worse the second! I mean, he is
PRETTY long but I don't recall it hurting
as bad when he would go all in the first
time (I mean, after the initial "wanna rip
his hair out and cry" pain). Does this
sound familiar to anyone?

NO!!! It shouldn't hurt! Maybe a little
bit of pain or soreness is ok, but not
serious pain. If you're having weird
discharge as well as pain during sex, you
need to go to the doc, You could have an
infection of some sort.
Sex should never cause "wanna rip his hair
out and cry" pain. That is an indication
of something wrong.

Sex is not supposed to hurt. If it does,
something is wrong. You were either not
lubricated enough (the most common cause
of pain), way too tense, or have a medical
condition (infections and whatnot).
Considering the yellow discharge, it
sounds like you have an infection of some
kind. You should see an ob-gyn sometime
pretty darn soon.

Agreed! It shouldn't hurt!!!!
.The "wanna rip his hair out and cry" pain
that you called "initial" - does that mean
it only hurts at first? If it hurts at
first, but not later then that is possibly
a sign you are not properly warmed
up/lubed up before you start vaginal
intercourse.
.If that is the case, more foreplay/warm
up and a bottle of lube will help you have
sex that is painless and never makes you
want to "wanna rip his hair out and cry"
in pain.

Well, as for the pain, when he went partly
in it was ok. But in some positions when
he went all the way in, like pushed almost
as far as he could, I felt really intense
pain like he was going in too far. Like he
was trying to push through something that
shouldn't get pushed through. I felt it
closer to my abdomen as opposed to closer
to the vaginal opening. After a while, I
felt it less and he was able to thrust a
little more with hardly any pain. But the
second time we tried, maybe it was too dry
or I was too sore or tense or something,
because it was more uncomfortable and
difficult to get in, and I felt the gut
pain again and he couldn't move at all
without hurting me and we had to stop...
lack of stimulation for him made it
difficult for him to stay aroused.

If you are feeling deep pain like he is
going too far, he might be hitting your
cervix. That can hurt some women.
For most women, the penis does not usually
hit the cervix. For some, it hits it only
in some positions and just causes mild
discomfort when it does. Really, the only
thing you can do about that is avoid those
positions. Then there are people who have
intense pain when the cervix is hit, and
the cervix is hit in pretty much every
position. This is due to the position of
the cervix. You could talk to your ob-gyn
and see if you cervix is, in fact, tipped
funny. If it is, and it proves to be a
problem, you can talk to your ob-gyn about
your options. in extreme cases, sometimes
surgery is an option.
I would suggest relaxing, making sure you
are well lubricated, and trying again.
Don't forget to see the ob-gyn either way
though. You're supposed to see her even
if you don't have any pain or other
problems.

Can that also have to do with a tipped
uterus? And is it serious?

Yes. Sometimes you hear will people say
tipped uterus, tilted uterus, tipped
cervix, or tilted cervix.
It's not usually serious. People used to
think it could cause infertility, but more
recent studies seem to suggest that that
is not the case. Many women with a tipper
uterus have no problems at all, but some
have the pain during sex.

My first time hurted me but only because i
was really tight. At first it was almost
impossible for him to get it in so he just
fingeres me a bit to "warm me up" and to
open me up a little bit. After we got
going it didn't hurt anymore.
I understand what they mean by hurting
because it has happened to me. I found
that after getting real heated and into
the moment the pain goes away.
He might really just be pushing your
cervix..yea it does feel uncomfortable but
mabey it is just that your not getting
enough foreplay...
As for the spotting, it could be that your
getting your period as well as it being
that he might of had ripped a lil skin
which is completely normal. Make an
appoint with a gyn... they can help you
out with your irregular period.

Well it could be a lot of things, most of
which have already been mentioned.
Did you, or do you, still have an intact
hymen? You should be able to tell with
your fingers. Are you able to get your
fingers or a tampon into the vagina? If
you aren't, it's possible that you have an
intact hymen. You can break it yourself,
it usually doesn't hurt but if you still
have it by age 20 it might be abnormally
thick or something. A trip to the gyno can
help you with that.
If not, then it could be that you were
tight (because you were nervous, not
relaxed, or something) or that you were
not well lubricated. Because there was
bleeding, I'd guess it was a combination
of the above. Next time, try using store
bought lubricant and getting very relaxed
before you attempt penetration, try
masturbating or having him orally or
manually stimulate you before you try sex.
You will relax more and your vaginal walls
will loosen. It's really easy, especially
if you're dry, for the pressure to tear
your sensitive vaginal walls or opening.
That's probably what the bleeding is from.
So next time, if it hurts, stop and try
some of these things. I almost always use
lubricant because mine just isn't enough
for me to be comfortable during sex, no
matter how turned on I am.
And if none of this seems to be the cause,
go to the doctor- painful sex can be a
sign of more serious problems.

I use tampons. Once when I was getting
fingered afterwards I started to bleed. He
did stimulated me orally, at first. After
he stopped I really wasn't stimulated
anymore.
