After having protected sex with a street hooker on May 14th (not sure of the quality of the condom, plus the prostitute did all the putting-on and taking-off for me XD), I've developed tiny needle-like white growths in the coronary groove plus reddish irritations on the foreskin which was diagnosed as pearl anthema, and the doc gave me medications to ease the irritation and kill the yeast. However on June 1st I've noticed that there were large patches of ulceration in my coronary groove and there were some kinda yellowish glue-like secretion under the foreskin and it was extremely painful trying to pull the foreskin back, I got PANICKED and went to another doc, she said it's probably Balanoposthitis and gave me some medications including Potassium permanganate, Ebastine tablets and several kinds of ointments (basically used to treat yeast and skin problems I guess). She also suggested that I take tests for all the STDs yet I doubt whether the results of only 3 weeks after exposure would be of any reliability...

Questions:
1. I've read that Penile Candidiasis, Balanoposthitis indicate a POSSIBLE HIV infection? Quote: "Both adults and infants with HIV or AIDS frequently develop yeast infections in the skin folds of the groin and unfortunately these same patients can be more resistant to treatment, with the symptoms reappearing when the treatment is completed..." GAWD! XD (I know the only way to know whether I've got HIV is to get tested after 6 weeks~3 months but this has been truly agonizing...) Oh and also I've read it could be resulted from AIDS phobia, stress or hygiene problems. Oh and I DO have a redundant foreskin *yet* I've NEVER had Penile Candidiasis or Balanoposthitis before! XD

2. I've made up my mind to get tested for all the STDs tomorrow yet I doubt if the test would actually yield any reliable results? It's been only 3 weeks after the possible exposure and the window periods of most diseases are pretty long, darn.

3. The doc doubted that my Balanoposthitis could be a symptom of Chlamydia, Syphilis, Herpes or sth. else so if this was actually true, would the test result for the relevant diseases be reliable? I mean, if my Balanoposthitis was a symptom for Syphilis, would my Syphilis test result immediately become positive?

4. I've heard that Syphilis is somewhat the most infectious among the STDs and I've also read that it could be transmitted by saliva, sweat and other means of daily contact, is this true?

p.s.: I got tested on the 15th day after possible exposure for HIV, HCV and TP, they all came up negative, it doesn't mean anything though
