Q: No Period, Negative Test.

So here's the deal...
In April I was taking birth control, so I'm pretty sure I got my period in the last week. I didn't take birth control or get my period in May. I'm still waiting to hope it comes within the next few days. I took a pregnancy test this morning and it showed negative.

Could going off the birth control have anything to do with my period being late??

Any thoughts?...I could really use some help!!!
