It's true, you should take a pregnancy test, and if it comes back negative, then you should go to a doctor. I just went today for the same type of thing and was diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis. They can perscribe a pill that you take twice a day for 7 days, and it's gone. Some things they told me for after it's gone to ensure that you don't get it again, is: wipe from front to back, wash after sex, wear no panties at bedtime, use no vaginal sprays/deodorants, avoid scented pads or panty liners, no douching, and no thong underwear. These things can all be problematic, or can spread bacteria to that area, where it can cause problems like this. But this won't go away on its own, believe me, I waited for 2 months, thinking it would just clean itself out, but it never did. So, don't delay, go to the doctor and you can get it taken care of. Hope I helped!
