She had her period around the 5th of May and about 2 weeks ago we started to have intercourse but she complained that it hurt when I put it in, so we stopped. A week later she said that she had started her period early, but a few days later said she believed she was spotting. She is worried that she may be pregnant. What do you guys think.

Was that your first time having sex together? Were you using protection?

Either way, the only way to know for sure is to take a test. You can't really tell any other way since the symptoms of early pregnancy are the same as symptoms of dozens of other things. Some women bleed during early pregnancy. There are also many things that can cause a period to be funny all of a sudden, so you can't even rely on a missed period as being a sure sign!

So get a test and make sure you use protection if you do not want a baby right now.

No, this wasn't our first time, and no we werent using protection. It last for all of about 1 minute and I hadn't had or about to have an orgasm.

I was wondering if there was a way to find some kinda of relief since she had her period early instead of late?

it doesn't matter how long it was, you had unprotected sex, there is precum and you can't feel when it happens and it can just as easily get her pregnant.

next time you have sex you need to use protection no matter what!!! even if it's only for a minute. be responsible if you're going to be making grown up decisions.

it might not have been her period, but the only way you'll know if she's pregnant is to take a pregnancy test.

Are you two trying for a baby? If not, keep in mind that not having sex for very long will not protect you from pregnancy. Pregnancy can occur in just a second. Also, she can get pregnant whether you orgasm or not. That's why the pull out method is not a reliable form of birth control.

Many things can make a period act contrary to how it usually is, so it's tough to say why she was early. Periods are especially irregular during the first three years that the girl has it. Some women have irregular periods all their life; some even get a period twice a month sometimes. Periods can be changed by stress, pregnancy, diet, hormonal imbalances, thyroid problems, and other things.
