Q: Fractured Humerus

12 days ago I fractured my left humerus. I am in a splint for 2 weeks and then I don't know what. My problem is that I have had to be totally dormant during this time. My appetite has completely diminished but I weighed this morning and have gain over 5 pounds since the accident. What gives????
