Hi, i'm doing a project on sickle cell anemia, and there's some things that I can't find so i'm hoping someone here can help me. Which ethnic groups are most susceptable to the disease besides african americans? How is it diagnosed, also with reference to rlfp and protein gel electrophoresis? How is the disease treated? What are some preventive methods? What organizations can I contact for further information?

If anyone is cool enough to help me with any of the above, I would really appreciate it.
