I have recently began a serious
relationship about a month and a half ago.
He is not my first sexual partner but we
do have frequent intercourse. I've noticed
vaginal dryness before but because the sex
wasnt so frequent it wasnt a concern of
mine. Now that I am having intercourse
more often, I notice it more. I dont get
"wet" during foreplay and have to use
lubrication during sex. Once the intial
start is done, i then become wet and we
have no problem...its strange. Im 21 years
old and engaged to be married in August
and dont want this problem anymore,
ecspecially on our honeymoon!!!!!!!! Any
suggestions or maybe should I see a
doctor? Could it be because of the LEEP
procedure I had when I was 16..... ?????
HELP!!!!!!!

For having sex frequent I think it's
normal for you to not get wet with
foreplay. Can't give any suggestions
because I don't get wet neither with
foreplay (but I get aroused) and it
presents no problem with sex for me. Once
it's first thrust is all good and sex is
very enjoyable. I have never seeing that
as a problem actually. What I can tell is
that I used OTC birthc control pill before
and that one caused me vaginal dryness and
now I use microgestin pill and this one
increases the vaginal fluids. So don't
stress over it, worrying will make it all
worse.

Birth control can definitely be the cause.
That is very common. If you are not on a
hormonal birth control, than it could be a
problem... are you so dry that it hurts to
have sex?
If it is true that you are just mildly
dry- that is, like you said, once he's in
it's ok, then it might just be normal for
you. People have different levels of
lubrication. I use lube quite often when I
have sex because I just don't get that
wet. However, it could indicate hormonal
imbalances or something... it is worth
getting checked out. Especially if it
causes discomfort during sex.
Random thought... you just starting dating
a month and a half ago and you're engaged?
He must be really good in bed.... j/k
Congrats
