Ok so I might be pregnant and even if im not me and my bf plan on having a baby. I have looked at breast feeding and formula options. The breast feeding looks healthier and better for the baby, but the formula is less often and easier on my nipples. I just want 2 know which on makes your breast sag. For your breast looks is it better 2 breast feed or use formula?? O yah and do ur breast leak either way??

um people don't breastfeed for the way it makes their boobs look, they do it because it's healthier for the baby.

you could at least try breast feeding, but it's your decision.

just remember, formula may be less often, but it's also a lot more expensive, breast milk is free!

No I understand that its just that I already have a DD bra size and I only weigh 156. My boobs are huge for my age and size and I dont want them 2 be all weird looking. I guess it doesnt really matter because im going 2 get a breast reduction when I can afford it, but I was just wondering... because of the fact that they say ur breast can get up to 3 times the size they are now.

Breast Feeding
Breast feeding is better for the child because it keeps them health and help them fight virus better. The breast milk helps them build up there immune systems and when they are older its a proven fact that their bodies are healthier overall. So I believe that breast feeding is the way to go.

Your boobs will get bigger and sag either way. some people leak, some people don't. It depends on you.
I have a feeling this post will not turn out good.

I'm leaving this post open for now, but if it gets ugly .I'm locking it.

Please look at all the facts about breastfeeding vs. formula, not just sagging. Weigh the options and decide which choice is best for you and your baby. For example:

breastfeeding pros:
~it's free
~your baby has a better chance of fighting off infections, avoiding becoming sick, etc
~no bothering with making bottles, running out of formula, finding a formula that agrees with your baby

formula pros:
~no pumping
~others can feed your baby (without you pumping)
~no sore nipples
~no restrictive clothing/bras and no need to worry about breast pads and leaking

.These are just a few examples. I personally opted to breastfeed my daughter, and at 9 1/2 months she still nurses. She's only been sick once, and we saved a bundle of money that would have been spent on formula and bottles. I'm able to sleep very well at night without having to get up at 2 in the morning to make a bottle - I just pop a boob in her mouth. I decided that my child's health is more important than my boobs, which will sag regardless of what I do.

But again, you should make a decision that you're comfortable with. Decide what you feel is best for you and your baby, and stick with that. Good luck.

For me breastfeeding is the only option, if it doesn't work out for me then atleast i tried. i've always had big boobs anyway, i was 34e before i got pregnant and now i'm 34h three weeks away from my due date, and in honesty i really don't care what my boobs look like after i'm done breastfeeding, i'm doing it because it's what nature gave us for babies so it just makes sense to do it. if my boobs come to my ankles once i'm done breastfeeding then so be it, i'll just buy a good quality push up bra Laughing

when you get to the point where your ready to have a baby you kind of need to throw vanity out the window..
breastfeeding is by far the better thing for your baby and when your a mom thats what you need to look at first, what is best for my child. Regardless, your boobs will get bigger and they probably are going to sag. I started out a d and am now a F and i dont even have my milk in yet.

and i dont think saggy boobs are that bad when you throw in the fact that you will probably get stretch marks, a saggy tummy and lots of weight gain but the good thing about breastfeeding is that it will contract your uterus much much faster and you burn an extra 300-500 calories a day making your body lose the baby weight faster. Also, breastfeeding boosts the immune system, provides antibodies, is shown to give your baby a higher iq and the list goes on. Im not against formula feeding if its what best for the mother and child but for the reason of you being concerned about what your boobs look like, well thats ridiculous.

I am going to speak on this from experience....
I did not breast feed my other 3 children but I sagged like there is no tomorrow after the pregnancies. I am pumping for my little one now because he is in the NICU and needs the extra antibodies that only I can provide him with. For his life now and his future life I choose not to care about the looks of my breasts. If you weigh the pro's and con's and still decide not to breast feed that is fine, ultimately the choice is up to you.

I've breastfed my daughter until she was a month old. I also supplemented with formula every once and in awhile to give my nipples a break. Breastfeeding nor formula feeding make your breast sag. I enjoyed breastfeeding my lil girl b/c it was healthier for her and it doesnt cost a thing basically its priceless. It creates a special bond bwt you and your baby. You can supplement with formula to give your nipples a rest and to give yourself a break at night. My doctor recommended that i breastfeed during the day until 8pm....then supplement with formula for the rest of the night. Oh and um...your breast would leak whether you're breastfeeding or not. If you are not breastfeeding...doctors can give you medication to dry up your milk supply.
