hi i have been on orthotricyclen for years. i went on it because i went on accutane. miraculously i felt better. i had been experiencing extreme pain and sickness for years that i told the dr about but no one believed. my cramps and general pain dissapeared and i felt better.

i want to get pregnant. i tried going off the pill and i got very sick. extremely sick, like i was crashing. its hard to explain but i got my period every two weeks, felt like i had a low grade fever, and my muscles felt weak.

well i went to a dr and suggested maybe i could have a pill with less hormones in it to ween myself off bcps. i was given Alesse.

i have been on Alesse a couple of weeks and already i am feeling the familiar weakness in my body and low grade fever feeling. im also getting a headache.

im just wondering what the specific differences are between them, the specific hormone differences (im a curious person and like exact data).

also, if anyone has an idea what is happening to me, id be very glad to hear what you might think it is. i dont think i will ever get pregnant at this rate. i am just so sick.

thanks.

Honestly, I would think that there is something else going on here to make you sick. I would go to a different dr who takes you more seriously and finds out what is wrong. That is not normal.
