so during the beginning of april i got my period (but i usually get it at the end of the mont) and a couple days after i had sex for the first time, with protection.
we did it a couple more times after that, again with protection.

once may rolled by, around the time i was suppose to get it, i never got my period. but i had light bleeding, but my boyfriend and i had sex the day before, and he went pretty rough. so that could be the reason for the light bleeding.

my question is, could i be pregnant because i missed my period in may?
or was it just late? because i think i just started bleeding today.

im not sure if it was stress that caused the lateness in my period in april..

We can't tell you for sure. That's great that you used protection. Keep in mind, however, that protection is not 100% effective. So every time you have sex, you run some risk of pregnancy. Be aware of that, but don't let it scare you either. Many methods of birth control and very effective when used an intended.

It's very possible that your period is just late. Tough to say. A lot of women have irregular cycles. Also, a lot of things, like stress as you mentioned, can make a period irregular even if it was always regular before. Worrying about being pregnant can definitely make your period late.

You'll have to sit back, watch for your period, and take a test if it still does not come.
