Weird Spots On Me...somebody Please Help :( Posted: 05-29-07 16:40pm
Ok, first I want to thank you for reading
this! But onto my problem. (Pictures are
at the bottom) I think I know what it is,
but I'm not positive so I was just
wondering if you could help me identify
what it is so I can get treatment and get
rid of this rash! From the pictures I've
looked at online I think this is what it
is but I'm not sure. "Pityriasis Rosea" or
"Cafe Au Lait Spots"
I'm 24, male, I have had this rash for
about 6-8 months, it gradually spread to
where it is now. It started on my arms, on
the inside of my elbows. It is not itchy
at all, just discolored obviously from the
pictures I've attached. The only areas
that I've noticed it were on my arms on
the inside of the elbow, on my chest and
recently a little patch on my neck. I have
not had any treatment for this, because I
don't have healthcare at this point in
time. No major medical problems run in my
family that I'm aware of.
At first I just thought this was an
allergic reaction to something, so I
switched laundry detergents, body wash,
soap, shaving cream, deodorant, shampoo,
cologne etc. Pretty much anything I could
think of that might be causing this. It
started as just a few small red marks on
the insides of my elbows, but has been
spreading and I figure now I need some
kind of treatment.
