for the last couple of months i have been having trouble with my left shoulder. i get this sharp pain every time i go to rotate it. and then my fingers will tingle like my hand is going to sleep.

plus if i lift my arm up and run my hand along the muscle that is parallel with my arm pit and press on it it fells like some one just stabbed me with a knife right there. any help to what might be causing this would be helpful

BTW i am right handed and i don't do any heavy lifting at work

thanx in advance
Ryan

My mother had a similar thing happen and it ended up beign a moderately severe rotator-cup injury. I'd go have a doctor look at it.

problems with your joints could be due to sinovial fluid. that sounds abit like nerves or something,or even aspinal problem occuring on your arms. try seing a physiotherapist for advice or doctor. im sure its nothing but abit of tense muscles or nerve endings:)

I would recommend getting it checked out. I had a friend with a similar problem and what happened eventually was the nerves kept responding to pain because they were out of position and the increased level of cortisol, or whatever it was, caused some serious hurting that required tons of treatment.
