For about the past week, everytime .Noah has a poopy diaper, he sticks his hands down there while .I'm trying to change him! Mad It's almost impossible to keep his hands away while his butt is in the air and .I'm trying to wipe him. He has been such a good baby with getting changed up until now. (He's about 10 1/2 months old now.) He kicks and screams almost everytime. Any suggestions on how to keep his hands away? I've tried giving him a toy to hold and it just ends up in the mess along with a hand! Embarassed

the joys of diaper changing!

i give finn something that's not a toy, like the snot sucker or a bottle of lotion. he seems to be much more interested in things like that rather than toys.

Jaylee does not stay interested in a toy while changing but she does enjoy to play with a wet wipe. I have now been trying to get her to blow her nose with it. So I think I am trying to kill two birds with one stone you could say.

I do the same thing. Ava hates to have her diaper changed, so I give her the snot sucker. She loves that thing. A toy doesn't have the same effect.

I have always just given Ethan something he doesn't usually get to play with such as my make up, a remote, and other things like that. It makes thins go a lot smoother. Baby wipes are great too..Ethan likes to try to eat them. But, sometimes he tries to wipe his but with them haha..

thats not quite as bad as my sisters son, he sticks his hands in his poopy diaper and smears his crap on himself lmao. Joseph used to do that reaching down, he was ok with toys for a while, btu i give him wipes sometimes too and he tries to help clean himself and keeps the mess off his hands. Giving them something theyre usually not supposed to play with occupies em for some reason, they like to have what they cant have. jordynnes already started flipping over constantly now but at least her hands stay away for the time being, sometimes i swear boys just like icky stuff lol
