I had been on ortho tri-cyclen lo for about 2 and a half years up untill last month until I had to go off of it. My doctor had me go off of it to see if that was the cause of my high blood pressure. (which i think it was...) But now i'm concerned that I might be pregnant because I haven't had my period yet and I'm about a week or so late. I'm wondering if this is normal to me irregular after going off of it or not?

Has this happened to anyone else??????

I was never really regulated before the pill or even after going on it but still I'm nervous. My boyfriend and I used both Concepterol and condoms but still....you never know. Thanks for any help!

it can take up to a year for your cycle to regulate; other women concieve immediately with unprotected sex (like my mom did to make my brother). Your cycle for sure is not going to be exactly the same way it was on the pills. It may be 40 days long or 15.

Some women are regular (or pregnant) right away. Others (like me) aren't so lucky.

Are you trying to conceive? Are you using another form of protection now that you are no longer on the pill? If not, you could be pregnant. The only way to know for sure is to take a test.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Not trying to conceive, I had blood pressure problems so I had to go off of it for a month or so but we used spermicidal condoms and spermicide. We were careful I though but I would be the minority of people that would get pregnant against the odds.
