Deatined Under Mental Health Act 136 Posted: 05-28-07 09:57am
Hello
Was detained by police sunday @ 625am -
was found to be 12 storeys high, ready to
jump off block of flats, just went to
jump, then the copper grabbed me - gr8.
Here, i am hours later @ home, with my
left arm in a sling, cos i severly slashed
myself (again)tears rolling down my
miserable face, again, wishing i was dead.
Cops think they did me a favour detaining
me in a cell for 9hrs, but they have
actually made me feel ten times worse cos
yet again i have failed to die!
Just wanted know - anyone else out there,
feel the same or been thru the same thing
as me?
Just want to try and feel like im not
alone?

Hey, please don't try to do something like
that again... you have a lot to live for.
I think God has mercy on you and chooses
to let you live each time.
In my personal experience - there was a
time when I felt exactly like you. I was
ready to press the "Die" button but I'm
glad I never did. I realized that these
feelings come and go. Let me explain:
Depression is a natural part of life -
it's what keeps us going. If everything
always went so smooth, then we would get
bored very quickly and would actually WANT
some kind of problems or drama to arise in
our lives. That is because ALL life on
earth is energy based; once a cell has
been broken down to its tiniest particles,
the only matter evident after that is
energy fields... and what is constantly
happening to energy? Energy gets created
and destroyed. The "creation" part of that
energy yields good feelings and the
destruction of that energy yields bad
feelings. Life doesn't stay still, it
keeps on moving, growing, evolving,
creating - but at the same time the old
life is dying and new life replaces it.
If you look at it that way, then you will
understand that feelings of depression are
nothing more than just old energy fields
being destroyed and new ones being created
- and that's just part of creation and
evolution. Without the bad times - there
would be no good times.
If you feel really bad, however - I would
advise seeking help from family and
friends first. If you can't find anyone,
then go see your doctor and tell him/her
how you feel and they will be able to find
the best solution for you.
Please listen to my advice and realize
that you have a purpose that you haven't
reached or fulfilled yet. And the only way
to do that is to actively seek it... and
you need your life to be able to do that.
Trust me - everything is going to get
better.
