Hey, please don't try to do something like that again... you have a lot to live for. I think God has mercy on you and chooses to let you live each time.
In my personal experience - there was a time when I felt exactly like you. I was ready to press the "Die" button but I'm glad I never did. I realized that these feelings come and go. Let me explain:
Depression is a natural part of life - it's what keeps us going. If everything always went so smooth, then we would get bored very quickly and would actually WANT some kind of problems or drama to arise in our lives. That is because ALL life on earth is energy based; once a cell has been broken down to its tiniest particles, the only matter evident after that is energy fields... and what is constantly happening to energy? Energy gets created and destroyed. The "creation" part of that energy yields good feelings and the destruction of that energy yields bad feelings. Life doesn't stay still, it keeps on moving, growing, evolving, creating - but at the same time the old life is dying and new life replaces it.
If you look at it that way, then you will understand that feelings of depression are nothing more than just old energy fields being destroyed and new ones being created - and that's just part of creation and evolution. Without the bad times - there would be no good times.
If you feel really bad, however - I would advise seeking help from family and friends first. If you can't find anyone, then go see your doctor and tell him/her how you feel and they will be able to find the best solution for you.
Please listen to my advice and realize that you have a purpose that you haven't reached or fulfilled yet. And the only way to do that is to actively seek it... and you need your life to be able to do that.
Trust me - everything is going to get better.
