Q: Eye Pain And Sinusitus

I have seen a Dr. about Sinusitus,
I was prescribed a Z Pack and Entex LA, but my eyes feel like they are about to explode, not to mention the pain when I look in different directions. Taking tylenol but doesn't touch the problem, any opinions/experiences would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Bill

My opinion is that zpak is horrible for sinus infections. My doctor even told me so. He won't even prescribe them unless it's for something very minor. Sinusitis is not minor and can lead to bad things if not taken care of. I would suggest asking your doc to prescribe you something else like levaquin which a very broad spectrum antibiotic (i.e. Kills a lot of different bacterial agents). It can take longer to get rid of a sinus infection than something like bronchitis because of where the bacteria are.
