hey, im 17 and very parnoid. let me explain...my breast are becoming sensitive, and i believe are growing slightly, and my period is due in 10 days. im always hungry for some reason and i dont know why, its never been this bad. im 5'7 and i weigh 125 pounds, so im not overweight or anything like that. but i am concerned about the always hungry thing. my friends say im a pig, and i know i am, but i've never been hungry 90% of the time like i am now. can someone give me an answer? if any more information is needed, please ask. Thanks.

You aren't sexually active are you?

Aside from possible pregnancy, these seem like rather normal expereinces for a young woman. I'm 22 and I still go through weeks when I'm randomly hungry.

The tingling breasts are fairly normal.

The increased hunger may or may not be a sign of something more serious, such as a thyroid problem. If you begin gaining weight drastically because of it, then I'd go to a doctor.

I eat like a pig too. I don't gain weight though. Some people just have a fast metabolism. If your body burns if off just fine, no problem. Like eiri said, you could check with your doctor just to me sure it is not a symptom of something more serious. Other than that, you sound perfectly normal. My breasts become very sensitive quite a few days before my period too.

You're right that you cannot get pregnant just from someone touching your vagina (assuming their fingers don't have semen on them).

As the other poster said, you absolutely cannot get pregnant from fingers (unless for some reason his fingers were soaked in wet fresh semen). Even then it wouldn't be likely.

YOu *can* get pregnant from a penis being in your vagina though, even if he doesn't ejaculate (cum).

Are you on birth control? Increased appetite can sometimes be a side effect of it. When I first started taking my pill my appetite actually decreased, but only for a while lol unfortunately.

You could just be going through a growth spurt. My daughter is 16 and every time she goes thru a growth spurt, she eats like crazy for a while.

Keep an eye on your heighth and weight. If you are getting taller, then I wouldn't worry about it. It will level out.

If you continue starving you might also look into getting your blood sugar tested. It could have something to do with your blood sugar but again, I would give it a little while before I really get concerned.

It's an admirable thing to wait for marriage. But birth control isn't just for sexually active women.
