Hello!
I am suffering for long time for a chronic prostatitis due to Chlamydia. When I received the result of Chlamydia, the doctor prescrived me doxicicline for 20 days. After taking this drug, I remained with the same symptons (pains along the urethra and inflammation). Azithromicine was then prescrived but I remained again with the same problems. Nowadays, the test for Chlamydia is negative but doctor think I have Chlamydia inside the prostate as symptons persist. I have decided to not take more antibiotics, and I am taking natural products such Zinc, Astragalus, Pumpkin seed oil. The problem is I remain with pains and inflamation. Do you advise me other therapy? Traditional Chinese therapy?
Thanks very much for helping!

So is the doctor saying there is no antibiotic that can clear up the infection in the prostate. I have never heard of that before????

Doctor didn't say there is no antibiotic. He said it is difficult for an antibiotic to reach Chlamydia inside the prostate, especially for a chronic infection. By this reason, I am looking for information about other possible therapies.

Firstly there are other natural supplements that can help with infection such as Garlic, Vitamin C, and Colloidal Silver. Then, perhaps most importantly is a probiotic supplement to restore your good bacteria which will also help control bad bacteria.

Secondly, one way to increase that attack of an infection in the prostate is to massage the prostate. A doctor can do this for you, or perhaps he could instruct you on how to do it yourself. High Island Health sells a prostate massager/stimulator that could help. Either way, consult a doctor.

Chlamydia and Prostatits
I have had chronic prostatitis for 18 years and have told the doctors for years it came on just after getting Chlamydia. They all dismissed my claims over the years. Since doing my research on the web in the last week I now see that I was probably right about getting it from Chlamydia. It's looks like it's still almost impossible to cure though.
