I wipe my boo boos with rubbing alcohol and use triple anti-biotic but I never seen to heal very well. I'm always left with dark marks.

What works for you?

My dermatologist recommended Mederma but I never use it because it is so expensive and she told me it could take a few months to see any improvement so I figure its not even worth it. I did try laser skin resurfacing which is used for people with wrinkles as my dermatologist highly recommended for my deep scars, but its like 200 dollars upfront and not covered by insurance. Plus I would have needed 5 treatments with the lasers so that would have really added up! Anyways, I've been pretty much sticking with my scars as it takes me years for them to fade away by themselves. A good tip to remember is to make sure you put on a light SPF moisturizer when going outside or that sun will make the scars even darker and harder to fade away!
