My neighbor's boyfriend and their 7 month old was killed today. No one knows yet what really happened. We think that he shot the baby and the police shot him. He also shot a deputy before he was gunned down. They live across the street. We live in a very small community and know each other very well. The bodies are still in the house and the mom/girlfriend was taken in for questioning. My mom who lives next door to me has a gun shot through her garbage. I keep thinking what if my mom and Ava were walking outside(they take walks on nice days), what if my brother would have been out there (he had just come home), what if my grandparents would have gone home a couple of minutes before (they were leaving out the door when it happened). That gun shot could have killed someone in my family. My heart breaks for that precious baby and his mother and siblings. There's about 20 cop cars still down my street, my mom's house and their house is a crime scene.
