I just started taking tri-cyclen-lo, and like it says on the box I started it the Sunday I had my period, which happened to be the day my period started. Twelve days later I still have my period, some days its light and others extremely heavy... And now instead of being a reddy-brown color its a very dark red, almost black.. should I be worried about this or is it normal? I don't want to stop birth control because I am a regular drinker and drug user and sometimes make unsafe choices, and my doctor told me that the morning after pill might not work every time.
I don't know what I should do.. Please help! Confused
