You ladies are going to think Im weird but everything Im about to write is totally true!! I havent told anyone except .Joey.

Ever since my daughter was born I had this weird feeling in my body. Theres really no way to explain it. I so wish I could.

When I hold her I usually massage her. When I do it feels asif Im getting massaged. Like when I rub her head, it feels like someone is rubbing mine. When I rub her tummy, same thing. If anybody is holding her and playing with something on her body, like fingers, toes ect.. I can feel it! But its the feeling like when you had gotten a massage for awhile and then after they quit you can still feeli t, ya know? Hard to explain . But anything having to do with her body, I can feel it!!!!! Like when my daughter got sick with an ear infection, my ear was hurting too. This is even before I took her to see a doc. But thats not uncommon for me because I have had many ear infections. Its just really strange. Like when she gets a tummy ache, I get them too. I give her medicine then she will calm down and my stomache quits hurting. I dont imagine this. It really happens. I didnt figure it out till she was a little over a month old. Joey was sitting there rubbing her feet and I was folding clothes in another room and all of a sudden I had that sensation on my foot like someone has been rubbing it for awhile. When I told him he said its a connection. He also said he can tell we have our special little bond. Maybe thats one reason why she is attached to me and cries when I leave.

Has this happened to you or anyone you know??

I have never heard of this. I would love to be able to search for stories like mine but I dont even know what to google.

Please leave some feedback. Anything to make me feel normal. Just no mean comments please.

I have not responded because I can't relate at all. It sounds like one heck of a connection. I am just waiting for someone else to say "I can completely relate."

The only "special" thing I really have with .alyvia is that she loves me, and doesn't really care for anyone else to mess with her much. That's including her daddy! Alyvia is so used to me caring for her all the time that she's pretty much obsessed with me. Well, as obsessed as a baby can get anyway. Laughing

Yea .Amelia is totally obssessed with me too. Today was the only day I had gotten the house totally clean without her whinning wanting me to be near her. Its sweet but sometimes its hard when you need and got to do other things.

I have always had a really deep connection with my first. I knew that I was pregnant practically the second it happened. I knew who she was the whole time she was inside. I knew everything about her. The sad thing is the second one I don't have that kind of connection with and she never talked to me. She stopped nursing earlier than I wanted, and some times I just don't feel that close to her (good grief, she's only 11 months old!) But I have never had the metaphysical closeness that you are referring to. That's pretty cool...until she hurts herself!
