I've had black stool and minor stomach pain(like muscle pain, not nausea) the past 2 days and I am not sure what to do about it. I've changed my eating habits the past few weeks (eating less and healthier foods) and i've actually lost around 30 lbs, but thats another story.

Anyway, i did some heavy drinking Saturday (32 oz of liquor) and puked all night and passed out, so it may be related to that, since the pain has only been since then.

I'm young (18 ), obese, and have had heartburn for a few years that I control with Tums or other antacids. Sunday after drinking i took 2 doses of pepto-bismal to curb the hangover puking.

I also have been taking Allegra D 24 hr for allergies for about 2 months and noticed that it had made my stool light and dark brown (kinda like a leopard), made my breath smell bad, and urine has changed smell and actually has the same hint of smell as the breath (ewww).

I need to know if this is a serious matter or if it is due to the heavy drinking.

I would think it would be gone by now if it was due to heavey drinking. But here are a few things I found about dark stool . It is usually a sigin of bleeding.. How long have you had it and is it real dark?

Blood in the stool may not always be serious, but it should always be checked by a physician. Any change in bowel habits, such as color, odor, frequency, or consistency (constipation or diarrhea) that does not clear up within a few days is reason to make an appointment with a family practitioner or a gastroenterologst.
