Well; after spending an hour reading up on the trials and tribulations of other men; I have decided to post up mine. ... sorry its so long!

I'm a healthy (or am i?) 23 year old male, don't smoke, drink or do drugs (EVER in 23 years); completely straight edge. Have had one relationship so far for a year and a half. We were very sexual and i've never had an issue keeping it up. Maybe the odd time but that was associated more with being tired/losing the mood. I have not yet forgiven her for what she did.

That relationship ended last year sometime shortly after my best friend passed away. Shortly after ending, she slept with one of my friends and this is where I spiraled into a bit of hysteria.

I came out of it though....started taking care of myself, working out, eating right...got a new look, met new people and of course that eventually led to meeting my now current girlfriend. It's hot, were into each other, we fool around and we've even had some damn good sex! Right down to the point where she could barely find the breath to ask me to stop!

Sigh; how i wish those days would come back. Lately, I've been having trouble maintaining an erection while heading towards intercourse. During initial foreplay im fine but when come time for penetration I lose it. This has happened overall about 5-6 times now...but not in a row. The wild sex I mentioned we had was in between those times.

I suspect something psychological.....I've noticed little things annoy me; her stupid roommates and their judgements of us in the next room, the fact we dont really have our own bed and are always either in the backseat of my car.....or on a couch. Also temperature....if I'm in the back of the car with only my member exposed i'm like a rock! ....I nearly sent her head through the roof! ....

Despite all this, last night, after a whole week of waiting for her to get off her period, we had the whole place to ourselves, no one around.....I was not able to deliver. I made it in, but come time to switch positions...I lost it. My temperature seems to drop rapidly when this happens. Later on after warming back up, I was able to penetrate again, only to lose it after losing wind. She finished me off (being the sexy, good souled person that she is) with oral sex.....and I was at attention for that.... weird!

I Love her. She Loves me and she will be with me through this...I know that much. I am by nature I know when to accept a loss. I have confided in her all i can. I dont want to lose her.

But what now? Viagra? Sigh.

I'll be making an appointment/sit-in with my doc later today.

Thanks for reading!

From a womens point of view.. This happened to my Husband too. The more he worried about it the less it got up and he got him so worried he even gave up trying.. I sat him down and told him try anyways and if it comes up and stays hard cool.. if not. Don't worry about it.. Guess what. He quite worrying about it and now he has no problems. It even did it with celias.. You worry so much about losing your erection you make it go soft..
I would ask the Doc if there might be anything wrong with you. Have him check your blood pressure. there are a lot of medical things that can cause this too.

Thanks for your reply melblonde01... i really appreciate it!

So despite taking something like Celias (which is a blood thinner?) your husband was still not able to overcome it until he simply believed in himself/you? wow.

I wonder if sitting down and simply letting go of some of my hang ups work. Maybe forgive the ex?

yep.. I think you have to not only Love but you have to have a very open relationship.. Tell her why you might be having troubles.. Get close besides making Love.. I think you will see it will all be ok..I just kept telling my Husband it didn''t matter and we would just keep trying if it happened it happened.. That took pressure off him.. You need to open up so you and your girl can have a conversation like that. Smile Good luck.

Hi Mel,

Just got off the phone with her just now actually she told me herself she wasn't worried at all about last night...and it definitely took some weight off my shoulders. She was still her fun giggly self and....well heck it made my day.

I'll have a talk with her and see how things go.... Smile

thanks! big hug!
