I'm 29 years old, and have never had any skin problems until about 2 months ago. I took the morning after pill, and about a week or two later broke out really bad, which didn't surprise me at all. But my skin has yet to clear up. The initial breakout cleared up in about a week, but ever since then I break out daily. At first they were cystic and painful, and now they're not as big, but I get about 7 or 8 new ones every day. Sometimes they're centralized in one area, then they'll move to another. And most recently, some of them have started to itch really badly. My question is this, could this still be a reaction from the hormones I ingested? Or am I suddenly being hit with adult acne? I also have been using Proactiv for about 4 years, and used to have good results, but it seems to do nothing now. Could there have been a reaction to the pill I took and the cleanser? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you!

i would go to your dr or a dermatologist, it could possibly be an allergic reaction to the pill but not 100% sure on that one, but ive never heard acne to itch so id def get checked out.
