Ok I was just wondering what it does
excatly?
How long after trying can you get it?
What are the side affects?
Should I maybe ask my dr about it I have
been trying for 7 months now?
Thanks for the help in advance...

Hi trish ~
clomid is used to help you ovulate. I am
not exactly sure how many days you take it
though, maybe someone will respond back
with that.
Dh and I have been trying for eight months
with no luck... And I have talked with my
doctor about clomid. I am stuck with no
af though since dec 10th and we even used
provera to try to bring one on. So I
would call your doc b/c it sounds like we
have been trying for about the same time
and my doc didn't think it was crazy to
bring it up.
Side effects include an increased risk of
ovarian cancer...
Good luck!

I've been taking clomid for 3 mths at
different dosage. I dont know about the
side effects. The doc just mentioned
that one's body may not be too responsive
to the drug when taking for a longer time.
I was told to take clomid for 5 days
starting from 72 hrs after the first sign
of period. Try to take them around the
same time on each of the 5 days. Good
luck to you!

Trish,
i have finished my first round of clomid
and am waiting to see if it worked. I
learned alot about clomid from obgyn.Net.
Sometimes it works after the first month.
The side effects according to the
information from the pharmacy are as
follows:
may cause
dizziness,lightheadedness,headache,stomach
upset, bloating or nausea.
These effects should disappear as your
body adjusts to the medication.
Report promptly:
mental or mood changes,skin rash,hot
flashes,stomach pain,breast
tenderness,blurred vision,abnormal vaginal
bleeding.
I suffered no side effects from the
medicine. Good luck to you.
