Q: One Testical Larger Than Other .

This is a question from my chap. He has one testicle a lot larger than the other and wanted to know if this is usual. Ive already written about him on this site and hes not one for doctors so was hoping for some encouragement for him to go lol! Cancer does run in his family as does it mine and hes never checked even for lumps etc untill he met me.
I feel kinda bad in a way as it was me who said about his testicles out of concern.

Its usually quite normal for one to be larger than the other. As far as I know its the same for quite a lot of men. One testicle larger than the other isn't normally something to be concerned about on its own. However, if there are lumps and/or he is experiencing any pain, then its probably worth getting it checked out.

I went to my GP a few years ago to get checked over. I thought it would be awkward and embarrassing. It wasn't at all. Doctors are very professional, so that aspect is nothing to worry about.
