A sinus headache is due to sinus
inflammation (sinusitis). Headache caused
by sinusitis is mainly located in the
frontal part of the head but it can spread
to the eye and upper jaw. Besides a
headache, sinusitis also manifests with a
stuffed nose, nose secretion and sore
throat. Further, mucus secretion collects
in the throat when one gets up in the
morning. Sinusitis can be proven by an
ENT-examination. Sinusitis is treated with
antibiotics, expectorants and
corticosteroids. You can consult an
ENT-specialist for an expert opinion.
