I have never had to worry about this. But my ex-significant other and I are no longer seeing each other. I practice safe sex and the last time that we had any type of intercourse was on 4/2/07. I am about a week late for my menstrual cycle and have been a little sick in the stomach. We did use a condom that is why I am thinking maybe this is just my nerves over reacting. But I have this strange discharge that is thick and creamy and I have noticed a slight change in my appetite. I am wondering is this too soon to take a pregnacy test. He and I do not even communicate any more, he no longer wants to be involved with me and is seeing other woman and although I am crushed I wonder if this has been strain to my body to give me pregnacy like symptoms. I usually have a regular mentrual cycle, and last month it came on the date expected every month it comes by the 8th no later than the 11th or 12th. today is the 21 and I am hoping that it's just emotional strain. My breast have been tender for the last week and today I don't even want my nipples to be touched. Can anyone share what their symptoms have been or is this all in my head just another emotional rollercoaster to make me sad becasue of the break up with my friend.

If you are late on your period, take a pregnancy test. There is nothing more that can be said. Your symptoms could be pms symptoms or they could be pregnancy symptoms.

It is highly unlikely you are pregnant. Your sexual encounter was protected with a condom and you more than likely were not near your ovulation time on .April 2.

A pregnancy test will tell you what you want to know and at this point, if you are pregnant, it will be accurate.

Good luck!

Calm down. There is a very good chance you are not PG. I could not tell you the signs of be pregnant, because I have never been before. But.. I do know you can make yourself feel all kinds of things when you worry. I had all the symptoms of ovarian cancer when my doc told me I had a cyst. My stomach hurt and I felt all kinds of things. Only to find out I did not have a thing wrong and not even a cyst. Boom just like that no more symptoms. Maybe someone else will tell you the symptoms of being PG this soon. But I think it is all in your mind.

I agree. You should take a pregnatcy test. Thats the only way you will know for sure. But it may as well be becuase of the stress that your menstral cycle is of course.

it's a big deal because the word pregnancy is all over this forum and it gets annoying, especially someone who's pregnant should know how to spell the word.

.if you are worried about pregnancy then take a test. .it would be accurate since you are already quite late for your period.

.also if you use Firefox it automatically spell checks all of your inputted texts, so that could be an option for lazy typers Wink
