Q: Early Period ?

I got my period today, its a week and a couple days early. This hasnt ever happened before. I am on the pill and usually take it really regularly, but the last couple weeks I've missed some, and havent been good about taking them on time and stuff at all (while I havent been good about taking the pills, I also have not had intercourse). Could the irregular pill schedule have contributed to my early period? Does this sound like something thats o.k.?

Yes, irregular pill use can contribute to an odd cycle.

Right. Why would you stop? That's just going to mess up your cycle even more and possibly cause pregnancy.

Ok....now it's been a week and three days since my period came early. If it had been normal it would have started yesterday. I"m still bleeding but it's not always normal, sometimes its a lighter flow with some lightish brownish discharge. You guys think this is still normal because of that irregular pill schedule a few weeks ago? This is placebo week, so in like 4 days I start regular pills again, maybe this will clear up then? anybody have any thoughts??

The pills may clear it up; but you may have to wait a month until the placebo week and that withdraw bleeding to truly reset your cycle.

It might take a while to regulate again. Just keep taking all your pills like normal.
